Langford is known for its balance of urban amenities and fabulous natural landscapes. The city is highlighted with an abundance of outdoor recreation, including parks, lakes and many hiking and biking trails, making it ideal for those with an active lifestyle.

A large portion of the housing in Langford is relatively new, with over half built between 2001 and 2016. Single-family homes make up most of the housing stock. They vary from charming rancher-style homes to large and luxury estates. Ongoing new developments ensure a constant supply of modern housing styles. Langford has seen rapid growth with condos and townhouses making up a large portion of new constructions in recent years. Condos and townhomes are more affordable living options and popular with singles, young couples, and professionals due to the proximity to the city’s core.
