Best Neighbourhoods in Victoria

Greater Victoria is located at the southern tip of Vancouver Island, British Columbia about 30 miles off the west coast of the mainland of Canada.  It is made up of 13 separate municipalities, each with its own municipal government.

Greater Victoria’s seaside location with its Mediterranean-like climate is considered to be the best in Canada and is one of the major draws for residents and visitors.

In addition to the glorious weather, which rarely gets above 30 degrees Celsius in the summer and below zero in the winter, the city is globally recognized as one of the best in the world.  In fact, Victoria was recently ranked #2 in the Top 20 Best Small Cities in the World by Condé Nast Traveller Magazine.

A rich history, a robust job market, the quality of primary and post-secondary schools, and Victoria’s proximity to major centers like Vancouver, BC and Seattle, WA have all been contributors to the area’s popularity.
