Neighbourhood Overview
Central Saanich spans the middle of the Saanich Peninsula from Island View Beach on the east to the Saanich Inlet on the west. It is home to about 16,000 residents and contains numerous parks and beaches.
Central Saanich has the highest concentration of agricultural production in the region. People from all over the Greater Victoria region visit Central Saanich to drive the lovely country roads and pick-up fresh fruit and veggies from roadside stands and farm markets.
The communities of Saanichton and Brentwood Bay are both located here. These two communities supply residents with most of their everyday needs … grocery store, hardware, restaurants, pub, etc. The Saanich Peninsula Hospital is located a few minutes from the Saanichton town centre.
