Hal was a commercial real estate lawyer and partner for 11 years with one of Canada’s top law firms, Bennett Jones in Calgary, Alberta. His clients ranged from individuals starting their first businesses and couples and buying their first homes to some of the country’s largest corporations.
Having visited Victoria a number of times on sailing junkets, Hal was drawn to the lifestyle and climate of Victoria. In 2004, Hal became a Licensed Realtor with Newport Realty, one of Victoria’s most highly regarded real estate firms.
During his years as a Realtor, Hal was the recipient of numerous awards from the Victoria Real Estate Board. In addition to enjoying the loyalty of his many clients, Hal was highly respected by the many Realtors he dealt with over the years.
In the spring of 2024, after 20 years of successfully helping countless clients buy and sell properties throughout Greater Victoria, Hal decided to retire and hand over his business to his trusted Real Estate partner, Audra Poole, who had been working alongside him since 2018.
Audra continues to provide exceptional service and expertise to her clients and dedicated to helping clients achieve their real estate goals.
